Question:

Adding up my SAT score?

Ok, this might sound a bit dumb- but how do I add up my SAT scores? The reason I ask is because I'm given a Math score (480), a Critical Reading score (550) and a Writing score (460) with two sub-scores (Multiple Choice - 50 and Essay-5). Now, do I add the sub scores in? Or are they already added??

  1. just add the math, writing and reading scores together and that is your score out of 2400, the sub scores are not added in separately

  2. Do not add in the sub scores, they are already factored into your writing score.

    Your total is: 1490
