Adding vectors?

I have no idea how to do this so any help at all is appreciated :)

Add the forces:

6 N west + 6 N south + 6 N north-west

please show steps/explain

  1. I've answered the same type of question yesterday but yours is super easy. Just draw a diagram using vectors by following what is said in the question. First choose a scale, like for example 1 cm = 2 N. Then you draw: a vector pointing west measuring 3 cm (6 N), then from its head you connect another vector (by its tail) of 3 cm pointing south (down), and finally your last vector of 3 cm has its tail connected to the head of your 6-N south vector and it's pointing + 45 degrees (the 45 degrees of the right side of your protractor) from the north (which is at 90 degrees).
