Adelaide cost of living?

30,000 australian dollars a year (after tax) paying 400 dollars rent a month. Single person, no car to pay for.

Would this be considered a good wage?

Like ^^ said, your wage would be considered as average.

Living in Adelaide is cheap although that doesn't mean its c**p.

Without an expense like a car you should be living well, and if you plan how you spend your money, you should be okay as long as you plan for an occasional over-spend or unexpected accident, eg something breaking.

It all depends on your way of living. Adelaide is a fairly cheap city to live in but your wage would be considered average. You could live comfortably in Adelaide but not extravagantly, like going to eat out often or going to the pictures.
