  1. Last time I went to Adelaide I got a cab from the station up to the main drag King William street and the cabby dropped me around the corner. In some side street and when I walked around the corner there was no one in sight at 11 am on a Thursday morning. Back water is polite

  2. Poor old people from West Victoria.  John Brumby was none to kind to them.

So an AFL State of Origin is The Mexicans vs West Victorians

  3. re the backwater bit: this premier moved from Broadmeadows, which makes Elizabeth SA look like Elizabeth Bay NSW, to a suburb from where half the convicted drug dealers come! he's in a fine position to call anywhere a backwater.

Anyone who's spent holidays in SA knows what rubbish that claim was.Great place, full of people with sense, who got rid of Bernie Egglestone. Good riddance the Grand prix, and yes I'd love to see State of Origin to return. Recruit the teams from the twelve sides that don't make the semis, and play the games as curtain raisers for the four last finals. Gives everyone a chance to play finals on the mighty MCG, and yes, also in Adelaide and Perth, which are super football towns. And surrounded by super wines as well.

  4. Ive lived in Melbourne/Adelaide.both places have good and bad points

State of origin should be teams made up of Amature league players

  5. Classic comment from Brumby - though a little harsh I think!

They can bring back the State of Origin but it wont change the fact most people arent interested.

I agree with X-man, leave the State of Origin to the ameteurs.

  6. You won't get many Port Adelaide supporters replying to you mate.  They can't figure out how to get their typewriters hooked up to the telegraph wires :-)

  7. You sure your name isn't Porky?? Or Dorky?

Love your spelling and grammar, r****d.  At least we are a tad smarter than where you come from.

Seriously though, just kidding.  I don't care what anyone else thinks about Adelaide, I love living here.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

  8. Great, me mums me sister, me brothers me granpa and your mum had my children.

    State of Origin sucks.

  9. Sorry boys, but State Of Origin is gone for good. You just want to see Juddy playing for Carlton AND Victoria don't ya mate!

Good old Victoria, the state that gave us Eddie Maguire, Joffa & Jeff Kennett. Glad I dont live there!!   :0)

  10. how does it feel to be retarded?

  11. LMAO.........Lol. Well Forky, you got my blood boiling, my head shakin' and my excitment for State Of Origin footy at its peak. Bring on the State Of Origin, the Croweaters will show the s****. Victorians how to play real footy.Lol.

Ah, yes.....I knew the Vics will lose the Grand Prix sooner or later, you guy's over there think you can have any major sport just by blinking. I guess your arrogant Premier wants our Clipsal 500 (the best car event ever) and our Tour Downunder events now!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Edit......Mate, its all fun and games. We could be best friends, but when it comes to State of Origin footy......Lookout!!!.

  12. Totally agree with the wild stallion, Adelaide is a backwater, early closing on shopping centres, when I was in Melbourne it was great to go to Southland and shop at 1am, also the over protective council towards development in the parklands is a joke, and the one way expressway? truly a fantastic idea, not.
