Ademco M6938 alarm manual

Question

My alarm keeps going off and there is a "batt" that comes up on the lcd screen. We can't seem to find a battery to replace We are not sure batt means battery. I can't find my manual. Does anyone know how to solve this problem. Thank you

Open the cover, there should be a battery in the unit. It is in need of replacement, it may be under or behind the main mother board.  Call or visit the Ademco website. They have been in business for years.
