Question:

Adidas Adizero PR?

Are these a comfortable (as much as a flat could be considered "comfortable", heh) shoe for someone with a neutral arch and good biometrics?

I realize they probably are not the best training show because of comfort and the fact that they will not last probably 300 miles, but would they be a good choice for an 8k race?

-thanks

  1. They're excellent flats. Although I support training in things like flats, I wouldn't recomend the PRs. They wear down pretty easily, so you'll feel it. They are comfortable though. They're great racing shoes; especially for XC and distance running, including road races. If you want to train in lightweight flats however, things like the Adizero RC or the Adizero Mana works really well. If you can get out of the Adizero range, Brooks T5, Saucony A2, Asics Hyperspeeds, Nike Streak XC, Nike Marathoner are great.

You might also want to give the new Lunar racer by Nike a look.

Also, don't consider Mayflies for training.
