  1. The adidas MegaBOUNCE is still a developing running shoe technology.  It was first introduced as a running shoe but now is looked upon more as a style shoe.

The idea is that the BOUNCE capsules compress on impact and stretch that horizontal piece, providing cushioning.  The benefit of cushioning in this way is that it is not affected by temperature.  Gel and rubber cushioning gets harder in the cold and softer in the heat.  It's a great idea, in theory.

The problem is that the a3 platform on which MegaBOUNCE is built does not have a midfoot support system (adidas called their's Torsion) that allows the heal and forefoot to rotate independently of each other.

On the other hand, many people do run in a3 and MegaBOUNCE and swear by them.  Personally, for use in running, I'd stick with tried and tested technologies.

  2. these are not good shoes for running. the a3 bounce makes the heel rise to high which is not good for your feet. also they have no support putting more weight on your achillies which can cause irritation and alot of pain.

  3. i think there too heavy to run in
