Aditi Madhav Kale overpowers Riya Jail to secure Girl’s Singles U17 title at Amanora Cup
Aditi Madhav Kale, an impressive shuttler from India, put up superb show of top quality badminton and remained successful in winning Girl’s Singles U17 title after defeating the higher ranked Riya Jail in final battle at Amanora Cup 2012 on Sunday, December
30, in India.
The third seeded Aditi Madhav, who stayed impressive throughout the championship, played with tremendous speed and precision and managed to overpower Riya who was the second seed in Women’s Singles draw in the main draw.
Third seeded Aditi Madhav did extremely well in the final encounter and remained successful in proving her mettle on court by finishing up the final battle in straight sets with a reasonable margin on the score board.
On the other hand, the second seeded Riya played with precision especially in the second set but remained unlucky in the ending points and lost the set with a reasonable margin.
In the starting game, the aggressive Aditi Madhav delivered an unmatched show on court as she played shots with deception from opening rallies.
The skills and tricky game plan helped Aditi Madhav to put her rival in all sorts of problem on court.
Until the mid-game break, the aggressive Aditi Madhav managed a comfortable margin.
The confused Riya failed to play positive game after the one-minute interval as she lost her focus on court.
Aditi Madhav did not slow down the pace of the game at any stage and comfortably clinched the first set with a sound 21-16 difference on the board.
However, it was a different fight in the second game when Riya put up superb show and did not let her opponent to take charge of rallies until the end of opening half in the second game.
After the interval, both shuttlers did not let down the pace of rallies and remained close on the board until the ending points.
The score reached at 22-22 when Aditi Madhav showed her brilliance and remained successful in winning the game with a dramatic margin of 24-22.
Aditi Madhav made her presence felt to the world by ending up the final encounter in straight games with a decent 21-16 and 24-22 margin on the score board.
