AdminiServ Temp agency a fraud?

I live in Tucson, Az. I got a call from this Temp agency saying that they needed to fill a computer repair job very fast and it would pay a lot to fill this position. I went to the business location and the building they are in is old, and I just got a bad feeling there. Of course when filling out paperwork I had to give them a copy of my drivers license and they wanted a copy of my Social Security card for records. This by its self it's too weird. But, when I got home I looked them up on Better Business www.bbb.org and no listings. Also, the web site address on one of there business cards www.admini-serv.com doesn't work. So, any one have any ideas or history with somethin similar?

  1. Sounds a little strange, but you do need to supply a copy of your license and social security card or other ID for them to complete the I-9, which is a requirment to prove you are eligble to work in this country.

  2. Dude, what were you thinking. I work for a temp agency. And they DO NOT need  "a copy" of any of that stuff!!  If there is any way possible, i'd report them. And do yourself a favor, check your credit once a month. It could help out.
