Administration problems?

I have a windows vista computer and i am having administration problems

i can only get in my standard user account and when i want to download it needs my administration password.

My problem is i know my administration password but it says log in failure the user has not been granted the request login type at this computer.

Help why is it doing this and how can i fix it?

You will have to log on as administrator first. Then you will have to change your standard user account from Limited to Administrator privileges.
