Admirable Duque looking out for the Skybet Mobile For Iphone & Android Handicap at Windsor
The Class 4 Skybet Mobile For Iphone & Android Handicap will be staged at Windsor over a mile, three furlongs and one thirty-five yards on Monday, 28th May. The race has attracted a line-up of eleven four-year and older contenders and carries a £4,852 prize money.
Not every candidate on the line-up has raced there before and those who have given it a try could not excel there.
The relatively accomplished entry for the race is Admirable Duque, Selkirk’s six-year-old bay gelding out of mare, Stunning, has been active four times ever since the new season began. Out of the four chances that he got, he bagged two, ended third and also stumbled on a miserable eighth position during the most recent race.
He cracked into the new season on 19th January in the Dine In Horizons Claiming Stakes at Wolverhampton over a mile and six furlongs. The race was won by the 2/7 favourite, La Estrella, who led the runner up, Country Road, by five lengths.
Striding on for reserving the third position was Admirable Duque.
He did not take very long to prove his ability of dominating the track as he displayed that potential on 24th January in the Golf And Racing At Southwell Handicap at Southwell over a mile and four furlongs.
Admirable Duque put in all that he had for claiming the race and clawed it away from the 7/2 joint favourite runner up, The Lock Master, who was reeling in for the wire at a very narrow head’s margin.
The other joint favourite of the race, Mazij, ended third on the track of eleven.
He then went onto monopolise the Follow Southwell On Twitter Handicap on 1st March at Southwell over a mile and four furlongs. This time the better composure and level of confidence ended him leading the track by 3 ¾ lengths.
Finishing the closest to him was The Lock Master while stationing third was the 9/4 favourite of the race, Big Creek.
The six-year-old failed to strike a seasonal hat trick as he ended eighth in the Football Scores On Your Mobile At Footballscores.Com Handicap on 27th March at Southwell over a mile and six furlongs.
Posting the third win through the fifth outing of the season is not a disappointing rate and he should make the most out of the chance today.
