Does the temp. set matter? when I turn the freezer/fridge temp lower, it seems the leakage/dripping is more serious.

  1. Sounds like your icemaker is leaking. Or you have an insulation problem(which vent)

  2. it could be a couple of things that relate to the auto defrost...

#1 and the easiest and quickest, is to make sure the fridge is level (Have you moved it recently?). If you don't have a level, you can open the freezer door, clear the bottom shelf and pour a little water on it , Watch where the water moves to.... What  I'm trying to say is, there is a drain tube underneath the coils on the back wall of the freezer, it runs down the back of the fridge to the condensate pan under the fridge where the water evaporates from the heat of the motor/compressor . If the fridge is tilted forward, the water won't go down the tube untill it overflows and you've got a mess... The 2'nd thing still refers to the drain tube, it could be clogged or the inlet could have a build up of ice etc...There's only a few screws that hold the panels on.. Empty the freezer, thaw the ice on the sides and bottom if there is any, remove the screws (don't forget to pop out the shelf 1'st) remove the panels and see what youv'e got.. You don't even have to unplug the fridge to explore
