I'm a Junior in high school and I've always been told that this is my most important year.

Well, the problem is, I seriously screwed up my Freshman and Sophomore year!

I entered my Junior year with about a 1.9 GPA.

Wow, I know. :/

I would do absolutley anything to get into UF!

I have taken Algebra 1A, Algebra 1B and I'm currently in Informal Geometry, problem is, formal Geometry and Algebra II is required. :(

Also, everyone also said I should take as many AP classes as possible.

Though I was accepted into AP American History, AP English III, and AP Psychology, I didn't end up taking any.

I know I screwed up, and I wish I could go back and fix it, sadly, thats not an option. :(

Is there any possible way I could get my act together and get into the UF?

Anything!!

Please help!

  1. I won't tell you that it is impossible, but it would be really hard for you to get your GPA back up without getting close to a 4.0 from now on. You would also have to do summer school and night school.

You could always go to a community college first to get back on track and to gain the credits that you would be receiving during your freshman and sophomore year at UF. You could transfer from a community college to UF and still be able to gain your BA from there.

I wish you the best of luck!
