Is 50% of acceptance rate safe to get in or very selective ?

I would have to say average. A very selective admission, would be more around 75%. 50% would be more of the lines of a state school. But 50% is alot if you compare it with some Ivy Leagues. There more like 12%... Hope I helped:)!
