Question:

Admit it: Isn't Palin a much better choice than Romney?

Romney went from being a social liberal to being a social conservative right before the election in order to win the nomination. He's not a person of substance; he's superficial. At least Palin sticks to her guns (no pun intended).

  1. No she a better choice that Obama, But I like Romney allot

  2. Pun Taken. It was 50/50, so it really didn't matter, and now that she has insulted 18,000,000 people, it's a moot point.

  3. She serves the same function...to guarantee that the Republican ticket loses.

  4. I can only speak for myself but I was undecided before he made this choice.  Romney wasn't tapped for Veep because of the drama over McCain not knowing how many homes he owns and Hillary not getting the democratic nod.  If Hillary was on the ticket, Palin wouldn't be.  If McCain hadn't put his foot in it and given the dems fuel to add to the flames of the "McCain is out of touch and I'm just like you" card, Romney would have had a much better chance.  I don't vote for single issues, I vote for the whole picture.  I don't know how comfortable I am with a "hockey mom" serving as an ailing, old man's back up in the White House.  There were other Republican women who are infinitely more qualified and would have been welcomed by the party if he just wanted to put a woman on the ballot.  This choice is absurd.

  5. No, you just have to ask yourself, is this what is gonna help us win, and the answer is clearly NO. You run a campaign on experience and pick someone who has none?

  6. I'm glad that McCain picked her.  Now I know it's over.

  7. No. He is way more qualified. I don't like his religion but I would much rather he be Commander in Chief than Palin should McCain keel over.

  8. I would have liked either one.

  9. I'm not a Republican, but i even know that Romney would have been a better pick. Palin is an awful choice

  10. I guess.  I still think McCain could have easily done better.  I mean come on, less than two years ago she was the mayor of some podunk town of 6,000 people.

  11. Yes, see the buzz on these boards by sickened and dismayed Obama supporters who know now Obama will lose for insulting Hilary.

  12. i think its HILARIOUS how the libs are wacking out over her being named as VP.

  13. Regardless of political orientation, I think Romney could handle the complexities of both the office of the vice president or the president. I have no confidence that Mrs.Palin could.

Also, there a quite a few very competent, conservative women politicians that McCain could have nominated such as Kay Baley Hutchinson and Elizabeth Dole.

  14. Yes, we don't need a Mormon in the white house.  Everyone has a right to choose their religion, but when you choose to join a cult, your decision making skills are questionable.
