  1. NO they cant admit u to a psych ward. They can( hospital for eating disorders)  if your parents sign for it, to get u help with your problem. So don't be scared to tell the doctor they are there to help u not hurt u!!!! I hope things go well , and u are not crazy so do not even think about going to a ward :) hagd hope this helped u!!!

  2. if the MD runs blood work, and your labs are not within normal limits, you may be admitted.

For example, anorexics and bulimics get their electrolytes messed up from their eating/behavior patterns and this can be life-threatening.

Especially magnesium, potassium, and calcium. The cardiac cells of the heart are especially sensitive to mag, K+, and calcium. There is a very small window. If any of these are too low or too high, the heart can simply stop.

  3. go for the check up and unless your gravely ill or have lost loads of weight from your last check up they might not notice.

although as hard as it may seem you should tell them you find it difficult to put food into your body for whatever reason and they night just try and get help for you for an hour or two a week...which is ideally what you need no matter how scared you are....you need to eat i dint know what its like to be in your position but this is an illness and does need to be treated by doctors!

if he does see you being in immediate danger he could admit you into hospital but only with your parents permission...so talk to them but take all the help that is offered to you!!

    good luck

  4. A doctor would not admit you unless it was life threatening. If it was then I would hope you would rather get help than die. A psyc ward would be possible, but there would have to be other things going on such as a desire to kill yourself. Eating disorders are very complex and would be handled by several different specialists including a counselor. They will not force you to do anything, but will do what they can to help you. Doctors don't want to waste their time on things that are insignificant, so if your doctor thinks its important it probably is.
