Adobe Acrobat Reader

Acrobat-plus.com wants to sell me Adobe Acrobat Reader 8. I already have Adobe Reader 8.1 (which is inadequate for some PDF printouts.) Are these 2 softwares actually the same? Would downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 solve any of my printing problems or not?
