I designed a Business Card with my Adobe Illustrator.

And now i want to print it, but the question is, if i want to print both sides. I already put my card in the center of the screen, and so i printed, but the result was, AI automatically moved my card to one side, and now i can't print both sides...

Does anyone have a better idea?

Thanks~

  1. this is a step by step guide for setting up files for printing.

If you're working in Illustrator, you will need to create a bounding box

  2. I've been able to export it as a pdf file (hotkey: apple e) and then put it into a template, the templates depend on the type of business cards you buy to print on.

  3. You'll need to get 'printer software' that you can put the business card onto a piece of paper many times (it repeats itself if done properly' and then all you'll have to do is turn the paper over sideways to get the printing on both sides ... buy a small pack of 'business cards' from any office supply store, and the directions are in the package instructions.

  4. If you click on the hand tool and move over to the other tool next to the hand that is the paper tool that will allow you to move the paper where you want the object to appear on the page.  If I were you I would just set it up in multiple quantity to a page front and back then you can print more than one.

  5. normally the adobe illustrator will print.  you just don't want too many pages to print.

  6. Just print one side of the card? and then print the other side after then glue it together?
