Adobe after effects late sound?

whenever i play a file in adobe after effects the sound is a second late, help please

You might have to be a bit more specific about what you're doing if you can. Do you mean the audio is late in the preview or after you have exported it within the video file? Previews can be not very accurate in After Effects when it comes to audio...unless you have massive resources for it in terms of ram etc...as it's ram preview you'll probable be using. Export the finished clip and then see if it's out. If so I wouldn't worry about it...fix it in your NLE (editing program) later...much easier.
