Adobe flash cs3: an unknown error occurred while accessing *file*

Question

i tried to open a flash that i saved, but a window appeared saying, "an unknown error occurred while accessing..." how do i fix this???

I think sometimes this happens if you are trying to open a far older version in the new program and vice verse.  Flash CS3 can open CS3 and Flash 8 files as far as I know.

You start by providing the entire error message, as the little part you have posted is about as generic and meaningless as it gets.
