I am using Adobe illustrator 10. This is the problem. I have a group of objects that all are slightly different sizes. I want to make them all the same size. I have been trying to do it manually but the objects are all just a little bit off. It has to look professional. Can you give me instructions on how to do this. I will give you ten points and all of my admiration and relief.

  1. Bring a couple of guidelines down from the ruler and then line up the objects along one of those lines.  Then, rescale them to match the other guideline.

  2. i believe that you can copy and paste them if they are the same shape, otherewise i would recamend making lines that you can use as an edge, and drag the pionts to the lines.

also look on youtube they have very good instuction vids for photoshop so i would assume for illustrator too

  3. I think the pallets you are looking for are the transform pallet and align pallet. These should be under your "Window" menu at the top.

First, select the object you want all of them to conform to, then open the transform pallet and look at the width and height. You can use this information to then select the other objects and make them the same size.

You can use the align pallet to make everything line up exactly. You can make them all align by the center, right, left, top, bottom, etc. You can also use it to automatically make the space between objects even.
