  1. he was the leader of hte n**i regime... he was the one behind the ideas... he told the people of germany that he would get them out of the depression they were in. After the first world war germany owed america and the rest of the world alot of money out of war reperations. this brought them into a depresion, similar to our great depresion, only this was casued by them. Hitler gave the people of germany hope that he could pull their people out of the bad time they were in. this helped him to gain followers because people wanted to do anything they could to get out of the depression. people were willing to do anything, they just wanted to see better days.

  2. He believed in the idea of Socialist Darwinism. Darwin believed in the idea of natural selection and survival of the fittest. This was Darwin's idea for how the animals and plants (not humans) worked. Then some people used this to determine the social order in the human race, not how Darwin planned his ideas to be used. This idea led to racism, imperialism (conquering other countries) and nationalism (breaking away or forming new countries). These were the ideas Hitler was supporting in wiping out the Jews so he and his German people could establish superiority so that they were the fittest.

  3. Adolf Hitler (20 April 1889 – 30 April 1945) was an Austrian-born politician who led the National Socialist German Workers Party. He became Chancellor of Germany on January 30, 1933 and Führer in 1934. He ruled until 1945.
