  1. Okay, genetics is a crapshoot so anything is possible.  Having said that, I am adopted and I know my birthfamily.  They are very cool, but my adopted family is who I think of as my brothers, sisters, mom, dad etc.  So does it really matter who gave you the genes?

  2. Just ask them. They'll feel awkward and they'll almost have to tell you. Explain to your 'parents' what's leading you to thinking that, and if they say you aren't adopted, ask them to prove it. If they change the subject, announce that you strongly believe that you are adopted since you don't have any proof other wise. Then put a convincing smile on your face, lift your chin up, and confidently walk away. (They will then think that you are mature enough to handle the truth) Good luck♥

  3. Genetics is a funny thing, isn't it!?!?

My entire family is short to average height, petite, long (below shoulder length and longer) hair, good eyesight, and pretty much perfect teeth. Did I mention that everyone in my family is gorgeous? Did I turn out this way? No. I am 5'10', thin, but not petite (in particular, my b*****s), short (slightly above shoulder length) hair, horrible eyesight, and had to wear braces as a teenager. I am pretty, but not modelesque. Also, I am a bit introverted.

I have gone throughout my life wondering if I was adopted. The only thing that I have in common with my family (extended included) is that we are all intelligent people.

You can ask for a blood test, but what would it prove? Only that you don't share the same genes! Family is family, no matter what!
