  1. yes.

when i found my mother she was in a great fog of her own.

She was very upset my aparents didn't raise me in the religion they claimed to be on their report my nmother read about them when she chose them.

She was upset they were divorced.

She was upset many in my afamily are alocholics.

She felt like she had given me to people who could have given me more than what she could, and unfortunately more to her meant qualifications and credentials. She(natural mother) was married just a couple years after my birth and didn't get divorced until after I found her. They were secure, and had a good life together. No alcoholism, and were the religion of what my aparents claimed to be when I was sent to them.

She was incredibly disappointed. Then to hear of how I felt about adoption, crushed her to the point that she doesn't even like to talk with me about it today.

  2. Only that they got divorced, she was fine with everything else.

  3. Mine was a closed adoption, so she had no idea what kind of life I was leading until I met her as a teenager. I think she was somewhat disappointed, but not so much with my adoptive parents as she was with me. I think she was disappointed by my adoptive father, because he was verbally abusive and an alcoholic. But mostly she was disappointed because I dropped out of college. She desperately wanted to go herself and never was able to. She was SO mad when I dropped out that she didn't speak to me for 2 1/2 years. She didn't understand why my parents didn't force me to stay in college, but no parent can force a rebellious 19 year old to do anything. So I guess she was disappointed in all of us?

  4. h**l yeah! My birth family & foster family have been beefing ALL our lives. 1 of my brothers said they used to treat him like a piece of meat in foster care.

  5. I think bparents realize that I was raised by people better than they are or ever could be.
