Adopting/Having a baby on Sim Deluxe?

Question

I have a couple. They're very much inlove(Hearts, Hug/Kiss without my consent, etc). But they won't adopt or have a baby! I've had them make love a dozen times, and they phone doesn't ring for an adoption!! HELP!

I've only been able to do that on the very first edition of The Sims. The expansion pack, Sims 2 and all the others, I've never been able to make them do it... :(

You'd get better answers by moving this to the video game category, this one is for real life. If you don't know the difference between the two, then get off the computer sweetie.

I usually make them fall in love with someone else, if that happens.

just wait..it'll happen eventually!  I have 2 females in one house...they have "fallen in love" and adopted...but it took awhile...

and I keep finding other little quirks that crack me up...alien abductions and turning into a zombie

I love that game!
