  1. if it sounds to good to be true than it is to good . please don't send money to that town , it's been known to be full of scammers.

  2. beware and consult an international adoption lawyer

  3. I am beging you to stay away from Cameroon the country if full of frud  Frist it would cost  more than $300 for a plane ticket  you would have to have a visa for the child and a passport for him to enter the U.S. this is a scam  I to want a child we are also looking internationaly but have contacted a adoption agencey please do the same

  4. take care of you own(USA) before going out and helping others. plenty of kids to adopt in America.

  5. Definitely a scam.  Legal adoptions are done through agencies and, unfortunately, cost a lot more than $300.

  6. I don't know.

  7. It's a scam. No legitimate governmental adoption authority will send emails and ask for money. You have to go through proper channels.

  8. PLEASE be careful!  I do not recommend doing any adoptions through the internet.  First, even if it isn't a scam, but it probably is, you need to be extremely careful about what makes the adoption legal here in the US.

Paying for a child, as this sounds like it could be interpreted, is illegal.  The US will not recognize the adoption, and you could end up having the child taken away.

However, I truly believe this is a scam.  Dr Phil recently did a special on adoption scams thru the internet.  One lady scammed several families by telling them she had a child for them to adopt if they just sent her money, then more money, then paid for this, etc.  Turned out that she wasn't even pregnant.  She ended up telling the families that she lost the child or miscarried.  It was horrible.  Please be careful.

I suggest you talk to an adoption agency to proceed with a legal adoption if you are interested.

    Good luck to you.

  9. We've adopted internationally for both of our children, and this definetly sounds like a scam. Most internationl adoptions cost at least $15,000, and you would need to complete a lot of paper work, have a home study done, and become certified to adopt.

Many agencies require an application fee, is it possible that you misunderstood?

If you want to adopt internationally, please make sure you find a reputable agency to work with, and not an individual, or else it probably won't be legal.

  10. that is problay a scam or illegal.... anyways why adopt out of the usa... there are so many babys here that go homeless and parentless every day......

  11. what are you talking about? you send her 300 what? liras? bahts? what?

So you send her money and you have the baby.. how? by mail? in a box? how?

You should be present to adopt a kid.

Beware that if you adopt from Africa it's very possible the baby has AIDS so you should have enough resources to care for him.

    good luck

  12. I’d say it is a scam. As the poster who has adopted children abroad has said; it cost far more then 300$. Not to mention there is paper work you have to feel out, home studies, legal fees.

What was this lady planning on doing sending the baby to you via Fed Ex?
