Okay first of all I always wanted to adopt a asian baby. I wanna know how old do you have to be, do you have to be married? Do they look down on you being single. And financial needs are no problem with me, I have plenty of money to take care of it. Also where can I go to find more information about adopting either a chinese, japanese or mandarin baby?

Please serious answers...

  1. I used an agency that covers most of the US states.  You can tell them exactly what kind of ethnicity you want the baby to be.  You have to be at least 18 years old to adopt, and you have to be at least 15 years older than the child. So you could adopt a 3 year old or younger child.   This particular agency does not care if you are single or married.  They just want to bake sure you can provide a loving, stable life for the child.

  2. china-no single adoptions

    japan-no out of country adoptions

    mandarin- still china...no single adoptions.

  3. China no longer allows single people to adopt. And Japan doesn't adopt their kids out to citizens of other countries.

  4. I GOT A GOOD IDEA

GO TO ASIA AND GET PREGNANT BY A ASIAN BLOKE

  5. Your first few things you need to look into are:

getting a home study by your local department of human resources to show that you can provide a good home and that you have a plan in place for day care/evening care to accomodate your work schedule.

getting your home environment prepared for a baby by setting up a nursery

securing the services of a pediatrician should your adoption go through.

many single people who have sufficient money are often able to adopt children without the hassles that face other people who would like children but are not as financially well set.

generally speaking, you need to be at least 21 years old since that is considered the age of majority in most places.

    Good luck.

  7. Adopting a Chinese baby takes about two years and can be very exspencive because you have to go over there for about 10 days to final the paper work and get your two year old child. In the end though it is worth it. Adopting in america no you don't have to be married because there are so many children that need homes they have started adopting to g*y couples. YUCK! I think that it take two to raise a child so I would prefer being married before attempting that. Plus when I do go to find a husband I really don't want to bring children into the marriage I want to have kids once I'm with him. I hope this helps! Oh age I think you have to be 18 or 21 I think that the main thing is money and no record of being mean to a child. Just note that all kids that I know that were adopted have had huge problems later in life and during the teen years.
