  1. Yes singles are allowed! you should through adopt an older child 4-7 becasue it is really hard taking care of a new born or a very little child by your self!

    Hope everything works out!

  2. single male can only  adopt a male child i found out... gd luck tho!  xx

  3. have you seen the complaints on this site?  why on earth would you want to adopt a child?  people are complaining about how foster care messed them up so you wouldn't want to do that.  Adoptees are complaining how greedy and horrible their parents were for wanting to adopt an infant so why would you want to do that?

i think you should probably just knock someone up, anyone because it sounds better than the options presented here.

  4. Congrats on your decision! =)

First off, you don't want any blacks, redheads or jews. Second, you should always choose a girl. They're more s**y. Third, she shouldn't be too old, or else she might tell someone about all the raping. 4-6 years old is best. If she has ponytails, that's even better, it's better for the pulling. Besides, once you marry your adopted child, you're no longer single! Your next adopted lovers will be easier to achieve, since you'll be a married couple.

If you choose boys, remember: Ears don't bleed as much!

    Good luck! =)

  5. Most likley you won't get an infant. They are hard to come by and almost always go to couples.

However there are a lot of great kids in foster care who really want a home. They don't care if it is a single parent home. Call your local DHS office and they can get you started.

Have you considered a sibling group?  Ther are some kids who are hard to plce because they have a sibling (or morethan one sibling) and do not want to be seperated from them.

    Good Luck

  6. Couples will always get chosen first..why not consider fostering instead?

  7. Singles are allowed to adopt.  Check with the Department of Human Services if you are interested in foster care adoption.  International adoption by singles depends on the rules of the country in question.  Some allow it, some don't.

The requirements are pretty much the same: you'll have to complete a homestudy, prove financial security, health screening, etc.

Do some research, look at all of your options, then make the best decision for you.

    Good luck!

  8. Hello Serenely

I have a single woman friend who adopted a boy and the following year a girl, and a single male friend who adopted a boy and a year later another boy. All four kids came from Colombia and were introduced to the parents through the KidSave International "Summer Miracles" program.

You will have to complete a home study and psychological review, fill out a lot of forms, and be diligent in your efforts to adopt.

  9. Try an independent adoption.  This is what I was told.  Look in the newspapers that is a good place.  Churches and hospitals

  10. it would be awesome if you could consider fostering i mean yes singles  can adopt but hey why not have more in ur home and give children chances. alot of ppl wont even try  its so sad

  11. Go ahead and contact you local Department of Children and Family Services (or the equivalent in your area.)  There are lots of kids in foster care who need good homes and parents.  Foster care is nowhere for a child to have to live.  Being single is not a problem for adopting.

  12. Yes, single people are allowed to adopt.  As a single person you must have to meet all the requirements that married couples have to meet.  Contact your local social services office for information and check into different adoption agencies.  You can also check the state department for specific country requirements...  good luck.

  13. The agency I used will adopt to singles, couples, g**s, straights, etc.  The process is the same if you are married or not.  Here is the agencies website.

  14. Yes, singles are allowed.  Start with your local DHS.  There are lots and lots of foster kids who need homes.  Good luck to you!
