Is it possible to adopt North Korean children? How about Cuban children?

I'm only asking because I know communist nations usually don't let anyone in or out. I feel it is the North Korean and Cuban children in great need at the moment.

(I'm from the US)

  1. they may allow adoption but probbally not from the US when you adopt internationally you have to go get the child and you are not allowed to go to those countries

  2. adopt a child here, their are plenty.

  3. Children are not "communist".  They are children.

  4. Most children do not have strong political beliefs ("I am a Communist").

China's communist leadership allows US adoption.  Doubtful that Cuba does.  We don't have open relations with N Korea or Cuba, so it is highly unlikely.

  5. Neither Cuba nor North Korea allow children to be adopted internationally.  However, China is a communist government, and of course many chidren are adopted every year.

  6. my younger sister and her huband adopted a baby girl back in the early 90's  from Russia,   she has made a fine addition to our family and we all love her dearly.  It takes a lot of time, and a good deal of background searching on prospective parents , and you have to stay in Russia , several weeks , when you go to pick up your child, and money, It is not cheap.
