Hi, I would like to adopt twins or triplets from Ethiopia. Do you know anyone who's done this?

Any comments or concerns? Suggestions?

  1. yes you can adopt more than one child at a time it take a while though

  2. All my children are from the states, but I did adopt twins.  It was just a fluke.  I had meet the birth mother, she chose our family to be the adoptive parents, then we found out it was twins.  The cost changed, but did not double.

    Suggestions: God Bless

  3. I have three nieces that are adopted and are not triplettes, but my sister adopted them at the same time(they were sisters). They were from Russia and it did take some time (I think 1.5 to 2 years), but she did it. The girls are now 4, 6 and 7 and they were adopted two years ago (the 4 year old's BM was giving them up for adoption while she was pregnat with her.) Good luck!

  4. Yes  people can adopt twins or triplets, BUT you are 13 year old  so no way will you get even 1 child toadopt never mind 2 or 3..

Wait until you are old enough then have a re think

  5. When I adopted, I was told that I could but that there were few to adopt because most twins didn't survive because of  the medical situation in Russia at the time. They didn't have the resources to help many preemies. I would assume the same goes for most third world countries. As you know that most twins are born prematurely.

Your intentions are good but if you are only 13 years old, I suggest you wait until your mid 20's to 30's before considering adoption, sweetie. Maybe you and your family could sponsor some Ethiopian children until you are older. Thanks for having a big heart and empathy for the less fortunate. Best wishes.

  6. Sure, you should be able to do that.  But boy, I reakon your keen.  But you would be doing a wonderful thing for the children
