Adoption Agency HELP!?

Question

So i was adopted through an Agency called "New Family Foundation" on this paper i found dated in 1994 it said the adress was

3408 Wisconsin Ave.

N.W. Washington DC 20016

Telephone number [phone]

so has anyone adopted from through there or know if they are still up and running?? i tried google, but not anything good results wise.

Maybe they changed adresses??

Any info would help!!

I have not heard of it, however, sometimes, agencies will change their names. My husband and I went throught the Barker foundation. An agency that works primarily in DC, MD and VA. You could go to their website barkerfoundation.org and send email to see if they have info on them. They have been servicing our area for over 60 years. Good Luck

You could put your information on a site iwasadoped.com and someone might be looking for you.its free. you can put in search and it would give you places you can go to. I hope this helps you.

Have you tried the local better business bureau?  They may be able to help.

eb, how old are you? are you still in your teens? were you adopted in '94?

They're not going to help you out until you're at least 18 and even then, you'll only be given non identifying information. I can point you in some directions so that when you're 18 you can apply for your non id....but I need to know how old you are. There is a great teen support board at http://www.adultadoptees.org
