  1. "We are proud to announce the arrival of our new daughter and sister, XXXXXX!

Born in XXXX, XXXX,  June 24, XXXX

Welcomed into our family forever on September 12, XXXX"

Check out the adoption announcements on this site:

  2. Hi,

We are in process of adopting three older children (long long process, but we start our visits next week!).  We plan something like:

    Announcement:

Its a boy.....and another boy....um and a girl!!!  J & J (our names) are the proud parents of three children:

    Name

    Name

    Name

Info on when they move in.  Proud parent etc.

Then I thought of registering lol but that might be too much.

Congrats, if you lived on ONtario we could have playdates!

  3. Congrats!!!

If you could afford it i would give each kid their own annoucement and bday's on it for the rest of the family to keep and remember the new b-day dates.

On the top of the site go under annoucements then type in older child adoption.

    Congrats again!

  4. "We happily announce that (names) have joined our family (date).

  5. Every time we have adopted (twice now and working on our third) we have made the announcement the same way we did when our one daughter was born.  All we did was state something along the lines of:

"John and Mary are proud to announce the addition of Sally to our family.  A 3 year old little sister for Nancy, Sue and Martha who are all pleased and proud to have a new little sister.  Proud grandparents are......"

  6. We had a family picture taken and made those postcards.  We listed their names, birthdates and the date they joined our family.  It wasn't terribly expensive.  I mean, you can go on some of those personalized adoption gift sites and spend a small fortune.

    Good luck and congratulations!

  7. We have just become the proud parent of ............... age ......, .........., age.... and ......... age..........

  8. I am doing the same thing right now and I am doing something like this...

We are proud to announce the addition of  (childs name) to the (Last Name)  Family

    (Birth date)

    (Adoption date)

or,  Our Family is growing again, Welcome

      (Childs name)

    (Birth Date)

    (Adoption date)

You could also put the childs birth weights if you wanted to

    Good luck

  9. We also adopted three siblings. We have one left to finalize soon and will be sending out announcements too.

You can get costume made ones on EBay.

Our children all have the same bmom but came to us at different times, are different ages, and have two different adoption dates. We want to include all their individual info on our cards. We are thinking of having a 5x7 card with wallet sized photos of each of them in a row with the their names on the bottom and dates around the sides. You can do double sided cards too with a family photo on the back, thank you note, or party invitation.

You could choose a theme for your card.

I could be someting they are into. A favorite show, game, or sport.

I don't know the s*x of your children but if all the same it could be girl or boy themed.

Football / Cheerleader theme. The Smith team welcomes its newest players John, Joe, and Sara. Coach Bob and Jen are excited about the newest members. You could do photos like sports cards with info under like date of birth, date of arrival, things their into, favorite color, nick names, etc
