  1. beats me!

  2. if in the U.K. then the Salvation Army can help, they have specialists in research for birth parents etc. You need to supply as much information as possible so as their search can be more defined.

  3. Go check the church records where he was baptised and get names!  Get a decent P.I. onto it.  Sorry cant be much help.

  4. The obvious is to go to his adopted parents first.  Any information that they have could be very valuable.

I would go to the courthouse of the county where he was born.  It sounds simple, but this is where we found all the information that we needed on my son.

Not all adoption records are sealed.

  5. Adoption records are sealed - for a reason.

  6. My husband and I adopted our sons through our local Department of Social Services.  That can be different from where someone is born.  I guess I would start with the Birth Certificate - where it was registered, etc  Was an attorney used?  Was it a private adoption or through an agency?

  7. If you figure it out, let me know! I've always known my birth mother, but have never been able to locate, or even find out anything about my birth father. He'd be in his 60s now, and I'd like to find him before it's too late. I don't know where to start, either!

  8. ask anyone who live there bout his biological parents...maybe that will lead to some clue...
