Adoption for a single woman?

Hi, i'm an italian woman, i'm single and I am thinking of adopting a child but in Italy it is no possible. I want to Know what is necessary in England to adopt a child.

It is extremely difficult to adopt children in England.The whole process can take 2 years sometimes more.If you are single it would be almost impossible .But you could perhaps try if you are determined enough.
