I have heard from many people that it is possible to get the Adrenalin gland from a human being brain, in order to get a high? I was wondering if this is a rumor or what? maybe it should be on mythbusters. But yeah i thought that would be gross that people that give autopsy's would sell your gland when you die just for some drug junkie to get high. It is supposed to be the Highest tweeking high ever,

  1. Although there are sometimes ectopic sites of catecholamine production/secretion, the brain is not one of them.

Please see, "locus ceruleus" for additional information.

  2. There is no adrenalin gland in the brain. There is an adrenal gland that sits near the kidney.  There is a chemical in the brain called adrenaline (also known as epinephrine), but NO ADRENALINE GLAND.
