Question:

Adrenaline works on beta 1 and beta 2 receptors so...?

It should increase Heart rate cos B1

It should vasodilate cos of beta2, HOWEVER it also stimulates alpha recptors (?which one I dunno) but that causes vasoconstriction... Which one predominates?

Also if you can tell me anything I missed here, let me know.

  1. it vasoconstricts AND vasodilates. The difference is which tissues have which receptors. Vasoconstriction predominates in the visceral organs and the skin, where as vasodilation occurs in the skeletal muscle.
