Adrian Lewis wishes to thrill the Players Championship and the World Matchplay, “The Jackpot” seeks revenge!
The Players Championship is close by and the world of darts is eyeing one man to break his cage of misery.
Adrian Lewis has been drowning in his failures this year and is not coming out of them. It has been long since we saw him throwing a blind-180 and inspiring the world. It has been long.
The world awaits Lewis to go head to head with Phil “The Power” Taylor and beat him just like he did at the McCoy’s Premier League 2012.
The world awaits a screaming lion who dominated every major tournament across the globe with his breath-taking display of darts magic. The world awaits Lewis snatching victories at the last minute.
The world awaits “The Jackpot”.
The Players Championship is the last stop where Lewis can stop the bus of misery and get off. It is an opportunity where the world number 2 can regain the love of his loyal fans and give them an eye-opener.
This year has been bad for “The Jackpot”. His charisma has been invisible. He appears dazed and confused during his battles and has failed to provide fans with any eye-candies.
This time, he has promised a comeback and appears in good mood with the media and his fans. He eagerly awaits the Players Championship and the World Matchplay.
“I am practising four or five hours a day now and getting sharp, I don't want to just keep winning the world title... mind you, that wouldn't be bad. But I want to win other tournaments,” said Lewis.
Lewis also appreciated darts greatest player Phil “The Power” Taylor and had high notes for the 15-time world champion. He also praised young talent and had his blessing s for them.
“Phil's form has picked up brilliantly again. He has just won an event in Germany and he is still the man to beat, Dave Chisnall has also picked up a lot of form, then there are the usual suspects, Simon Whitlock, Gary Anderson, James Wade and Barney (Raymond
van Barneveld),” Lewis spoke.
His temperament requires the same aggressiveness he once possessed. His stature needs a bit of stiffness where he can stand hard and tall against key opponents.
“The Jackpot” is aiming high at the Players Championship and the World Matchplay. He has the right approach and this time, he means business.
