  1. peterson

  2. Based on their schedules, I'd have to say Steven Jackson, just because the Rams are facing quite a few teams ranked 16th or worse over the season. However, if you want to gamble on AP having another astounding season, then I'd go with him, because he's only gonna get better. Westbrook's good, but the younger backs in the NFL nowadays seem to have more flair.

  3. S-Jax. Westbrook & AP are very injury-prone.

  4. westboogey, 1000 recieving, 1000 rushing this year........ get ready

  5. Everyone will say AP and all the rankings will have AP ahead of the other two.  However personally I'd take Westbrook because he plays injured and can run and catch.  Solid player game in game out.  Steven Jackson is still having some groin problems I read, the same injury that kept him out of half the season last year, however he is a contract year player and will be running hard to pay the bills in the future.  AP is electric, no doubt, but heres why I dont like him.  Hes been injured every year since his freshman year of college and has had to miss playing time.  Last year I think it was the PCL tear, year before in college  he hurt his leg or broke a foot or something and I think in the final game and before that he broke his collar bone.  His freshman year I believe he had a high ankle sprain but he did play through it.  He runs hard but he takes a lot of punishment.  If you take him, try to get chester taylor too.

  6. I would say westbrook. he is a good RB, and he can catch the ball, and is a pretty good return man.

  7. adrian is the better rusher with 1300 yards and 12 tds

where westbrook had around ten less yards and 7 tds

jackson had 1000 and only 5 tds

while westbrook is the better all around back with over 700 recieving yards and 5 recieving tds

compared to adrian's 250 yards and 1 td

    and steven's 250 yards and 1 td

  8. Brian Westbrook if you dont have the 1 or 2 pick becuase he'll rack the points up seeing he can run and receive. I dont think Adrian Peterson can receive that well and Brian Westbrook will be better than Steven Jackson.

  9. steven jackson

  10. ADRIAN PETERSON YEAH BABY ! GOOOOO VIKINGS

  11. YO Adrian

  12. just throw out Jackson out of the question . i would go with Peterson just because Westbrook has battled injury the last two years . it don't hurt that Peterson also plays with one of the best o-lines neither & we have het to se his best .

  13. Brian Westbrook

  14. If you are asking which is betetr I would have to say AP. However, I believe Westbrook can rack up more fantasy points based on the team and style they play.

  15. When?

    Now: Adrian Peterson.

He had a h**l of a rookie campaign. He lit the field up whenever he touched the ball. His 1341 yards and 12 touchdowns were remarkable. Peterson's style of play is incredible. He is lightning quick and he loves contact. He will hit you before you hit him. It's really fun to watch, but it is a terrible idea. Adrian was bothered by atleast 3 injuries while with the Sooners in his three years. He was even slightly injured last season. If he keeps up this aggressive style of play, he might not last that long.

    In their prime: Steven Jackson.

Jackson is a tough runner, who has perfect size (6' 2" 230) and great quickness. He has rushed for over 1000 yards in 3 of his 4 seasons (673 his rookie year). Jacksons best year was better than Peterson's last year, and better than either of Westbrook's the last two years. Jackson had 1528 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns, ALONG with 90 receptions, 806 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns. That is unreal. Jackson is also the best-dressed player in the NFC.

For their career: Jackson or Brian Westbrook.

I don't need to explain why I picked Jackson (read above). As for Westbrook, no he does not have the rushing yards (only 500 more than Jackson with 2 years edge), but he is a versatile player. Westbrook had 2 punt returns for touchdowns in 2003, he has had 600 yards receiving and 4 receiving touchdowns each of the past 4 years, and he has had nearly 4000 yards rushing the past 4 seasons, and 50 touchdowns in 6 years of play. Westbrook also brings a camaraderie and intelligence (attended Villanova) that most running backs lack.

But in all honesty, I would rather have LT than any of these three guys. LT has the speed, vision, attitude, hands, ball carrying ability, quickness, mindset and intelligence that everyone wishes for.
