Adrian Peterson or Brian Westbrook??

I am in a standard scoring league where passing td's are 6 pts. And i know pretty much the top 10 guys going first.

1 Tom brady

2 LT

3 Peyton Manning

4 Gore (my buddy is a huge 49ers fan)

5 Which leaves me here??

So do i pick Ap or Westbrook in which has a proven track record. I pick 5th so second round do i pass on a MJD, Maybe Clinton Portis, Marshawn Lynch, Willis Mcgahee to get Terrell Owens? thanks

  1. Westbrook AP will get injured for sure so westbrook

  2. dude Ap And westbrook wont be availble believe me at the 5th pick of the draft

  3. Westbrook

  4. It never hurts to have 3 GOOD RBS, I always find if I draft Wr lower, I can usually find someone on waivers who has a breakout season, so I low prioritize that.I'd definatly go Peterson as he wil have a HUGE workload, and if they decide to give someone goal line or 3rd down, Peterson should have plenty of breakout runs. I'd probably jump all over Lynch with the next pick cause he should be another RB that is young and will get the bulk of the carries., Good Luck!

  5. Nope - not AP or Westbrook.  You NEED to get S.Jackson!  He will be the come back player of the year this year!  Westbrook is incredibly talented but he is injury prone and defenses will key on him.  AP is just plain over-rated!  He had 2 good games and 4 HORRIBLE games last year = 2 wins/ 4 losses.  AP will again platoon!  He hasn't learned how to block so Taylor will play all 3rd downs AND will get all goal-line TDs!  S. Jackson is the EVERY down back in STL.  goal-line/3rd down everydown.  STL beefed up their OL and will get Bulger back this year.  S.Jackson is a great receiver (he caught 90 balls 2 years ago!)  St.L plays an easy schedule and is in the soft NFC West!

Predictions:  1900 total yards and 18 TDs.  GET HIM!

  6. AP

  7. Well lucky for you your friends might set you up for the championship lol.  But quite honestly, you can't lose choosing Westbrook or Peterson.  So as a diehard Eagles fan, my unbiased fantasy football gut tells me to go with Westbrook.

Westbrook accounted for over half of Philly's offensive production last year.  And remember, Westbrook is the best receiving RB in the league, and McNabb loves to throw to him.  McNabb by the way is looking very healthy in camp so far, yet another plus for Westbrook.

That is my opinion, good luck whoever you choose.
