Adrian Sutil - Vettel and Hamilton to watch out for during 2011 season
Like most of the Formula One experts, Adrian Sutil also believes that a stronger Sebastian Vettel will emerge on the 2011 tracks. While talking to media earlier today, the Force India driver insisted that after having won his first world championship, the German will enter the grids with a higher confidence level and better form than ever before.
The German when questioned today as to how he sees the upcoming season, not only named Vettel a strong title contender for next season but also tipped the McLaren driver, Lewis Hamilton as a serious threat for the next championship. He told the reporters that the British driver is the man to watch next year believing that Hamilton has immense racing talent, which is further improving with every passing year.
Both the young drivers Vettel and Hamilton have made their way to the top swiftly. After having won numerous racing series, the British lad Hamilton, who is also the only black driver in Formula One, entered the series in year 2007. He ended the debut season by grabbing the second spot in the annual standing, losing the title only by a single point. However, the determined young man won the first championship of his career the very next season, in year 2008, becoming the youngest world champion in the sport’s history. His record has been broken last year by the 23-year-old German racer, Vettel who has made his way to the top only after three complete seasons competing for the highest ranked series of the world.
Now, as the two enter another season, along with three more champions on the same grid, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button, a sizzling Formula One platter is expected to be served to the race fans. While talking about his fellow countryman, Sutil said, “Last year, Sebastian was very strong in qualifying against the supposed qualifying-specialist (Mark) Webber. Now, all the pressure is gone. After he was runner-up in 2009, everyone expected so much from him (in 2010) because the car was so strong.”
The German further stated, “I expect him to move on now. He will be more relaxed and even better with a title in the bag.”
Sutil has recently renewed his contract with Force India for another season. While talking about the driver earlier this week, the Indian team boss, Vijay Mallya stated that he is an asset for the team and has a long way to go in Formula One.
