to perform well in the forthcoming race, which is to be held at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.
The German driver has said that the Canadian GP is one of his favourite races in the calendar. Moreover, he said that Montreal is a great city to visit and the track of the next race is quite unusual because of which teams need
to develop different kinds of strategies. Besides, he said that he has always liked the circuit of the upcoming race, but has never been able to score competitive points there. Nevertheless, he said that he is positively looking forward to achieve good result
in Canada this year.
“Montreal is definitely one my favourite races on the calendar because it’s a great city. It’s also an interesting and unusual track, and it can be a long race with different scenarios and strategy options. I like the circuit,
but for some reason I’ve never had good results there. Hopefully we can change that this year,” Sutil said.
It will be important to note that the Silverstone based squad are going to take part in their 100th race on June 9, 2013. Therefore, the team principal, Vijay Mallya has said that they are aiming to make the most out
of their car in the forthcoming race.
“When we started back in 2008 we simply had the ambition to break out of Q1 and we dreamed of scoring points. Seeing where we stand today is therefore extremely rewarding and motivates us all to continue working just as hard for
the next 100 races,” Mallya said.
The 30-year-old is currently standing at 11th place in the drivers’ championship with 16 points. Let’s see how he performs in the season ahead.
