Adrian Sutil says Force India’s VJM04 is the best car – Formula 1 news
Force India driver Adrian Sutil has said that the team’s VJM04 is the best car which he will have at the Suzuka circuit.
The Japanese Grand Prix will start from Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Suzuka circuit.
The German talked to the media and stated that Suzuka is a great circuit on the Formula 1 calendar and that it suits him very well. In addition, he said that other than Japan, he is looking forward to the Korean and Indian race weekends of the 2011 Formula
1 season.
Talking to reporters, Sutil commented, “Last year we were strong at the beginning of the season and by the time we got to Suzuka it was not so easy for us. Based on the performance we have shown in the last four races, I think we can go to Japan thinking
of scoring more points.”
He added that he loves to race at Suzuka and that he is happy for the 2011 Japanese race, as they can go there after all the disastrous events that happened at the start of the year.
The 28-year-old driver went on to mention, “I think it's a good sign that we're going back there. And Suzuka is a great circuit, one that suits me very well. I like it and it's certainly one of my favourites. But I'm also looking forward to Korea, and of
course India! There are some good circuits coming up.”
After a disappointing 2011 Italian Grand Prix, Sutil was back on the grid in the Singapore race weekend. He took an eighth position for the Force India team after starting the Grand Prix from the ninth position on the opening grid.
The Silverstone-based outfit was quite happy as well as satisfied with Sutil’s performance in the Singapore race.
Sutil is sitting at the 11th position with 28 points in the 2011 drivers’ championship after taking part in 14 rounds of the ongoing Formula 1 season so far.
After a successful race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Sutil is aiming to get his best possible result from the upcoming Japanese race.
