Adrian Sutil targets podium in 2013 Chinese Grand Prix – Formula 1 news
Force India driver Adrian Sutil has said that he is aiming for a podium finish in the 2013 Chinese Grand Prix which is going to be held at Shanghai International
Circuit on April 14.
Sutil performed impressively well in the Australian GP at Albert Park in Melbourne. He secured an incredible 7th place finish after setting off from
12th grid slot. Although, he has not been able to score even a single point in the second race at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia as he was retired. Nonetheless, he is positively looking forward to perform well in the next round.
The 30-year-old has said that he is targeting to achieve good results for his team in the season ahead. He also said that his aim is to be on the top for which
he will try his best.
Besides, he expressed that they are feeling very much positive for the next race after attaining competitive result in the season opener.
“Everything is possible; it's in my hands I think,” Sutil said. “I have targets and I will try to do my best to reach those. Of course we want to be absolutely
on top, that's why we are here and we want to make that happen but it's a hard way. We showed it's possible here and there to get good result.”
In addition, he asserted that they have one of the most competitive cars in the field and he is extremely happy with their development process. Furthermore, he
admired the balance and tyre management of his car and hopes to remain competitive in the forthcoming races.
“[It has been] not too difficult, I was just driving as fast as I could. I was happy to be back in car and it worked very well. The car in my opinion is very good;
it's best car I've driven,” he added.
Additionally, he said that he has left all the harsh memories of the nightclub incident happened in 2011 behind and is confidently eying to come up stronger in
the third round of the season. It will be interesting to see how the German driver performs in China.
