The Rossoneri have come under heavy criticisms due to their decision to sell their top two players, in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903, and Galliani explains why.
The San Siro outfit have gone on to part ways with more than 13 players this season, and this has created a wave of disappointment with the Rossoneri faithful. Whereas, the release of some players is understood by most of the people, the mere exodus of players
leaving the club has stunned the fans.

on to continue their careers elsewhere.
What disappointed the club fans the most was their decision to sell Ibrahimovic and Silva, players who played a huge part in the Rossoneri’s pursuit of the Scudetto in the 2011-12 season. The disappointment in the fans of the club can be seen by the fact
that the Rossoneri outfit have recorded the lowest number of pre season ticket sales during the era of Silvio Berlusconi.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 Galliani and Silvio Berlusconi have remarked that the club were forced to make the decision, as their finances did not allow them to pay such huge amounts of salaries. Galliani has once again come on record to state that he wants to clear it out
that they could not afford those players, and they could not turn down the offer of the Parisian outfit.
Paris Saint-Germain made a joint bid of 60 million Euros for the pair, and Milan gave in to the demands of the Parc de Princes outfit.
Galliani remarked:
“Milan took the decision, amid total agreement between the club and management staff, to balance the books. This saw us forced to give up on some very big salaries. It would’ve been impossible to sustain the costs of the wage bill without cutting those contracts
that had become too damaging for us.”
He went on to state that they had to make the hard call of selling the player as this would have haunted them later on.
