The Vice President of AC Milan discussed various complications involved in the signature of their former playmaker; still trying to sign him despite the hurdles.
The Brazilian has reportedly fallen out of favour with Real Madrid’s Portuguese boss, and was only involved at the tail end of last season, owing to the injury sustained by Angel Di Maria.
Even though Kaka showed glimpses of his former self, Mourinho is content to have a Kaka-free starting line-up.
This coupled with the pending transfer of Luca Modric has put Kaka’s future into more doubt. What escalated the rumour mills were the meetings that took place between the agent of Kaka and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 Galliani. The Milanello chief acknowledged that they were
interested in signing the Brazilian, remarking that some loves never end.
There had been two meetings between the duo, and his agent also remarked that they had discussed his client over the dinner. The vice-president of the Rossoneri went on to suggest that things were not as simple as they seem and there were many hurdles to
the transfer of their former star playmaker. He went on to state that negotiations were underway and they would try their best to lure him into a move to the San Siro outfit.
The Diavolo boss conceded that finances were a big concern in his signature and the laws are different in the two countries. He went on to remark that Kaka’s contract was not subject to the new Spanish laws and that the Brazilian still enjoyed a considerable
amount of salary, which hinders any possible move for the player:
“As always, the problem is money. Milan cannot afford some wages, especially as in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 they have a different fiscal structure. The law there has changed for future wages, but the contracts that were already signed are still valid under the old tax code.”
The Giuseppe Meazza outfit issued the squad numbers for the upcoming season, and Kaka’s old “22” shirt which was worn by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Clarence-Seedorf-c9275.
Galliani acknowledged the situation and remarked:
“For the moment it is free.”
Kaka left for the Spanish capital for a fee of 65 million Euros.
