The Dutchman is expected to be sold after the season and Tuttosport suggests that he wants to move to the Rossoneri; Milan Vice-President denies the link.
Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport have both suggested that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799 will be pondering a switch to bitter rivals AC Milan in the summer transfer window.
The Nerazzurri have already revealed their intentions that they will be looking to refurbish their squad during the summer transfer window.
Sneijder is expected to be sold by the Nerazzurri, following a not-so-impressive run in the ongoing season. The Dutch international hardly completes a full game under Claudio Ranieri, and the manager himself recently claimed that
he is duty bound to select him.
The 27-year-old was linked with a move to Manchester United last summer, but the deal could not materialise due to the player’s wage demands. It is expected that the link may be renewed this summer, giving the playmaker a range
of good options to choose from.
Sneijder is also reported to be good friends with Milan’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mark-van-Bommel-c24148 and Kevin Prince Boateng.
However, the Rossoneri have moved quickly to deny such stories, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 Galliani suggesting that they have two excellent players in the Dutchman’s role.
While talking to the reporters, Galliani said:
“I’ve read the stories, but we already have two excellent players in his role. Urby Emanuelson and Kevin Prince Boateng are doing really well and we are therefore well covered in that area.”
Sneijder’s inclusion in the Nerazzurri squad has widely been hailed as a failed promise, as the midfielder has scored just one goal in 15 league appearances. The former Ajax star has remained injured for most of the season, and
is also blamed by many for being the cause of imbalance in the Nerazzurri formation.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan acquired the services of the star midfielder in the summer of 2009, after paying Real Madrid a reported fee of €15m. The 27-year-old had an impressive debut season with the Beneamata, and played a major role in helping
them winning the treble.
