The Rossoneri chief will wait until the last minute of the transfer window to sign the Manchester City striker. Filippo Inzaghi likely to move away from San Siro
A.C Milan vice-president, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez’s signature.
Tevez has been linked with a move to Milan, but the transfer fee demanded by Manchester City remains to be a stumbling block in a deal. City want upfront transfer fee, but the Rossoneri are holding on for a free loan with an option
to buy at the end of the 2011/12 season.
Galliani is still optimistic over the Argentineans signing, and is hoping to give the fans a Christmas present by succeeding in his signature. However, the-67-year-old admitted that it will be extremely tough for his side, but
they will try their best to sign him.
Commenting on the possibility of signing Catania striker, Maxi Lopez, Galliani revealed that he has made a promise to Tevez that he will wait until the last day of January transfer window to sign him. Lopez has been heavily linked
with the Rossoneri, but they now seem to have pulled the plug on a deal for him.
While talking to the reporters, Galliani said, “Will Tevez be a Christmas present for the fans? It’s tough in a period of economic difficulty, but we will try to keep the supporters happy. Maxi Lopez? Catania have been very kind
and open, but I made a promise to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlitos-c8336 that we’ll wait for him until January 31. If Tevez does not arrive, then we will stay as we are.”
On the other hand, veteran striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Filippo-Inzaghi-c13777, is linked with a move away from San Siro in the January transfer window. The 38-year-old has found first-team opportunities hard to come by under Massimiliano Allegri. Galliani
has confirmed that the former Juventus star wants to become the highest goal-scorer in European football, so he will move to a club which can offer him the chance of accomplishing his dreams.
“Pippo’s dream is to set the record for European goals. He’ll try to achieve that either with Milan or another club in the Europa League.”
Inzaghi is the second highest goal-scorer in Europe behind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-c30652 Gonzalez.
