Adrien Beltre Trade?

Question

I trade Adrien Beltre for Joey Votto is that a good deal for me. I don't use Beltre because he is on my bench, and i currently have Delmon Young at utility

Seems fair enough unless you need a 3B. I'd do it either way depending on what I needed.

It's a fair trade that will work out in your favor. With Beltre, you basically know what you're getting. He's a guy who'll hit no higher than .270, 20-25 HRs, 80-90 RBIs, 80-90 runs and10-15 SBs. Keep in mind, he's batting .222 right now. That'll really hurt you in the average dept. Votto is a rising star who has lot more upside than Beltre. He's also eligible to play 1B and OF, so he's more versatile. I'd make that trade and not look back. Good luck!
