It says on Wikipedia.com

The state of being neither male nor female may be understood in relation to the individual's biological s*x, gender role, gender identity, or sexual orientation.[citation needed] To different cultures or individuals, a third s*x or gender may represent an intermediate state between men and women, a state of being both.......................................

(such as "the spirit of a man in the body of a woman"),..............etc.

Now I just want to point out, is this part of Adult Tomboyism is someway

  1. No it's more along the lines of transsexuals.

  2. Seems to me that a Tomboy (one who is of Tomboyism) is a boyish girl, a girl who feels like a girl, but also feels a bit masculine. Someone who identifies as "the third gender" (as illogical as that term is, rather say Transgendered or an extreme androgynous), is a girl who feels both male and female. Same goes for boys.

Also, I still think that definition from wiki is wrong. It makes no sense that they are neither male nor female. It make more sense that they have extreme traits of both male and female. Being neither male nor female means you are something else entirely, not some degree of the two.

  3. Wikipedia is about as reliable as the National Enquirer...

  4. no. I am not sure what you mean by adult tomboyism. Do you mean butch? What theyre talking about is someone who identifies as intersex or gender fluid.

  5. I like 2 think of myself as the spirit of a woman in a man's body - but given the choice, I prefer the company of a woman; so I guess I fit the "Third Gender Theory!"
