  1. Well i play volleyball and i put my regular bra on and then my sports bra over that and it feels like ur wearing ur regular bra so try it. It helps

  2. Sports bra

    not sure

  3. Champion makes a great line of sports bras.  My favorite one has hooks in the back, so I put it on like a regular bra.

I'm not sure what it is about a sports bra that gets on your nerves, but volleyball is a very high impact sport and even women who are on the small side need some support.  For an idea of the types of bras out there, check out the bra section of Title 9's website (http://www.titlenine.com/jump.jsp?itemTy... and look at the ones that have at least 3 barbells.  Title 9 rates bras by level of support; I would recommend the 3-5 barbell bras for volleyball.

I do not recommend wearing a camisole, but I'm saying that from the coach's point of view as well as thinking about support issues.  When I was running high school tryouts and a girl showed up in a cami rather than a sports bra, it would appear to me that she wasn't very serious about the game -- that she was more interested in looking fashionable than in having the proper equipment.  You can give a coach the wrong impression if you show up trying to look like a rock star rather than an athlete.

  4. I don't like sports bra's either.  I would suggest something appropriate for you size.  I am a bit on the larger size so I need a full coverage underwire bra and I cannot find anything that resembles a sports bra for that.  I currently use fruit of the loom for my sporting needs, but I don't do a whole lot of jumping and only a little running, (tennis) so you really have to try certain kinds out.  If you are smaller, you can go with a full coverage bra that will squish you in so you don't bounce as much, like, maybe a size smaller around than what you would normally wear.

  5. well, volleyballs requires a lot of jumping....so a high impact sports bra would probably work the best.

if your on the smaller size though, you could probably get away with a normal bra and maybe a cami with a built in bra in it.

    good luck at your tryouts!
